UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-ST. LOUIS noncommercial KWMU/ST. LOUIS pulled in $382,885 of pledges during its OCTOBER 16-25 FALL membership drive, reports the ST. LOUIS BUSINESS JOURNAL. The drive set a new station record, ending early for the fourth consecutive year. New membership rose 65% from last year, the largest one-year increase in the station's 36 year history.

"It is a real testament to the support of public radio listeners in the ST. LOUIS community to pledge KWMU in record numbers and enable the station to exceed its financial goal during these uncertain economic times," said Interim GM MIKE DUNN.
