CLEAR CHANNEL is reacquiring Rock KBRQ (102.5 THE BEAR)/HILLSBORO-WACO, TX from the ALOHA STATION TRUST. The station was spun off in the company's buyout deal to meet FCC ownership cap requirements, but an increase in the number of signals in the WACO market from 14 to 15 allowed CLEAR CHANNEL to take the station back.
In another deal filed with the FCC, RANDOLPH JOHNSTON is selling WQMS-A/QUITMAN, MS to IRA LITTMAN's ACME BROADCASTING, INC. for $30,000. JOHNSTON bought the station in JUNE 2007.
And EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator K253AQ/GROVE, OK to CHRIS DANIEL's DANIEL BROADCASTING, LLC for $21,000.
