ESPN RADIO's covergae of tonight's resumption of game 5 of the WORLD SERIES will air in the NEW YORK market on SALEM Talk WNYM-A (AM 970 THE APPLE). The game, delayed by rain from MONDAY, is being bumped from ESPN's own Sports WEPN-A (1050 ESPN) due to a conflict with the KNICKS' season opener. The PHILLIES and RAYS are tied 2-2 going into the bottom of the 6th inning at PHILADELPHIA's CITIZENS BANK PARK, with the first pitch scheduled for 8:37p ET.
WNYM PD PETER THIELE said, "AM 970 THE APPLE is making history in NEW YORK with great programming... but now AM 970 THE APPLE will be NEW YORK's station for WORLD SERIES history."
