CBS RADIO's PHILADELPHIA stations are partnering with the WALL STREET JOURNAL to hold a "PHILADELPHIA Energy Summit," with speeches and panels discussing energy, the environment, and the economy. Environmentalist and AIR AMERICA RADIO personality ROBERT F. KENNEDY, JR. is headlining the event, along with former CLINTON administration Deputy Assistant and policy advisor KATHLEEN MCGINTY. Talk WPHT-A will ait six hours of live programming from the event, which is scheduled for SATURDAY (11/1) 9a-2p at HOLY FAMILY UNIVERSITY in NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA.
VP and Market Manager MARC RAYFIELD said, "It is one of the most significant issues of the upcoming election and therefore can’t come at a more meaningful time. It is our goal to provide listeners with a greater understanding, and insight as to how they can reduce their own energy costs." The CBS cluster includes WPHT, News KYW-A, Sports WIP-A, Classic Hits WPGL, and Rock WYSP.
