The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOC. (CMA) has announced the 2008 CHEVY CMA AWARDS KICKOFF CONCERT. The free show will take place on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11th at the SOMMET CENTER PLAZA in downtown NASHVILLE and features RODNEY ATKINS, ELI YOUNG BAND, HEIDI NEWFIELD and KEVIN COSTNER and MODERN WEST. SIRIUS XM/NASHVILLE VP/Country JON ANTHONY will host the show.
HEIDI takes the stage at 4p (CT) followed by RODNEY at 4:45p and the EYB at 5:45p with COSTNER and company wrapping it up at 6:30p. The 42nd ANNUAL CMA AWARDS will broadcast live from the SOMMET CENTER the following night (11/12) at 7p live on ABC.
