WFLZ Goes 'Obama 93', Um-Er-Uh 'McCain 93'

Earlier today ALL ACCESS heard CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WFLZ (933FLZ)/TAMPA afternooner KANE who was mumbling something about "933FLZ" is no more at 4p today." Now we know!

KANE was the lucky recipient of the remaining $168 in BARACK OBAMA's campaign funds and renamed the station "OBAMA 93 - Radio Change You Can Believe In" at 4p played a long montage of song hooks with the word "change" in them, complete with recorded bumpers saying"OBAMA 93".

You'd think that would be the end of it ... right?

Well, being the easily influenced guy that he is, KANE was persuaded to dump OBAMA 93 for McCAIN 93 when the (er-uh bribe, um-uh financial renumeration) offer from the McCAIN/PALIN camp was upped to a mind boggling $300, and KANE sold out. OBAMA 93 is now McCAIN 93 as of 6:30p (ET).
