MERCURY/NASHVILLE artist JAMEY JOHNSON is set to perform on THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9th. While in the BIG APPLE, JAMEY and his band will stop by the IMUS IN THE MORNING SHOW to perform on DECEMBER 10th.
ROLLING STONE magazine rarely reviews Country albums and seldom features Country artists. They have however, taking a liking to JAMEY, giving his album a 4-star review and listing him on their "Hot List" in their OCTOBER 2nd issue. In the OCTOBER 16th issue, they featured him in their "Breaking" section and listed his new CD "That Lonesome Song," on their "Buy These Now" column. They stated, "There’s a new Man in Black in NASHVILLE – an ex-Marine with a talent for penning rugged, gothic honky-tonk odes to waking up with ‘whiskey eyes and ashtray breath.’ He’s outlaw country’s next big hope.”
