MAGIC Urban AC KDAY (THE BEAT)/LOS ANGELES has promoted Production Director ADRIAN "AD" SCOTT to OM. Helping him out on "The Heart and Soul of L.A." will be consultant STEVE SMITH.

SCOTT, who replaces PD/nights THEO, will continue to do production as the station shuffles its programming. WENDY WILLIAMS' syndicated show has been taken off the air, following the departure of Mo'NIQUE's show in OCTOBER.
