TOWN AND COUNTRY BROADCASTING AC RADIO HAMPSHIRE/SOUTHAMPTON, ENGLAND and TNDLE RADIO GROUP AC DREAM 107.2/WINCHESTER, ENGLAND will merge their operations into a joint venture with mostly common programming, reports the GUARDIAN.
TINDLE is taking a share in the new company along with TCB founder JASON BRYANT and investor MIKE FRANKLIN, with the combined operation based in SOUTHAMPTON. The stations will use the RADIO HAMPSHIRE brand and will simulcast except for about four hours of talk programming per day.
