Thousand Foot Krutch, Fireflight Win Taco Bell 'Best Of The Beat'

TOOTH & NAIL band THOUSAND FOOT KRUTCH and FLICKER RECORDS band FIREFLIGHT, along with TRIPLE CROWN RECORDS band HIT THE LIGHTS, were announced as the first “Best of the Beat” winners as part of TACO BELL’s “Feed the Beat” program. Each band will work with TACO BELL to hire a producer to record a single and to receive promotion by TACO BELL through in-store efforts and via www.feedthebeat.com in SPRING 2009.

Winners were decided by fan votes in OCTOBER and NOVEMBER on TACO BELL’s virtual music festival website, www.feedthebeat.com. More than 180,000 votes were cast for the 100 bands participating. The “Feed the Beat” program provided $500 in TACO BELL BUCKS to all participating bands.
