Ciskie Exits Duluth

MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS/DULUTH Sports Director and UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA-DULUTH hockey play-by-play voice BRUCE CISKIE has exited the cluster. CISKIE, who had been with the stations for 12 years and who had been UMD play-by-play announcer for four years, is being replaced as hockey broadcaster for the rest of the season on Rock KHQG (102.5 THE HOG) by JEFF PAPAS; CISKIE's Sports Director position has been eliminated.

On his blog, CISKIE said, "The last 12 years have been fun, exciting, and without very many dull moments. I have no regrets, except that I will no long be able to work with and for many people I respect so much." He's reachable at bciskie@gmail.com.
