ESPN's "MIKE AND MIKE IN THE MORNING" -- sans one MIKE -- will return for a second year of live remote broadcasts from the BASSMASTER CLASSIC fishing tournament. MIKE GOLIC and ERIK KUSELIAS will head to the event on the RED RIVER in LOUISIANA in FEBRUARY while MIKE GREENBERG takes the day off. The show will broadcast live from the event on FEBRUARY 20.
"We’re excited to have MIKE AND MIKE IN THE MORNING come back for some more great fishing at the BASSMASTER CLASSIC," said BASS VP/GM TOM RICKS. "We had a lot of fun with MIKE and ERIK last year, and this year promises to be just as entertaining. MIKE AND MIKE IN THE MORNING listeners and sports fans everywhere are in for another treat."
"I have been to LOUISIANA many, many times," said KUSELIAS. "But I have not been to SHREVEPORT. So I’m excited to see a different part of the state, which I understand is absolutely beautiful. I’m so excited to be coming down."
At last year's event, despite a healthy dose of smack from GOLIC, KUSELIAS caught the only bass between the two hosts. "You know, GREENIE basically beats (GOLIC) up every day, and now he gets beat up by another non-athlete in an athletic event. It has to sting the big guy."
