CLEAR CHANNEL Country WMAD (96.3 STAR COUNTRY)/MADISON recently wrapped up their "STUCK IN A TRUCK" contest, where participants were literally stuck in a truck and vying for a 2008 FORD F-150.
The contest began on OCTOBER 2nd, with eight contestants living inside two trucks (four to each one) to see who could last the longest. They were allowed 10 minute breaks every three hours and one 30 minute break per day (which eventually became a 10 minute break as the contest continued).
As time passed the contestants were challenged by taking away priviledges, like reading materials and being able to see their spouses. On Day 55 of "STUCK IN A TRUCK," only two contestants remained - LISA and TOMMY.
After neither one budged and the holidays were getting close, STAR COUNTRY offered both of them $10,000 toward a vehicle at the local FORD dealership, $1,000 on a new mattress and a three-day trip to LAS VEGAS. LISA and TOMMY claimed their prizes and both decided to get out of the truck.
