Long-time HUBBARD BROADCASTING Talk KSTP-A/ST. PAUL-MINNEAPOLIS fixture TOMMY MISCHKE has exited the station. The move, after his show FRIDAY, came one day after MISCHKE and the station held a release party for his new CD.
MISCHKE had been with the station since 1992, when he joined DON VOGEL's afternoon show as a sidekick after being a regular caller (the "PHANTOM CALLER") to the show. He most recently hosted noon-2p CT on the station.
Station representatives would not comment to ALL ACCESS on the move; a note from MISCHKE on the station's website to listeners reads, "I've been let go by the station. But I want to thank all of you listeners for your kindness to me over the years. It's been an honor to be able to hang out with you every day. Perhaps we'll meet again one day, somewhere down the line. Stay well."
