Texas Sales Exec Arrested In Deer Trapping Case

CLEAR CHANNEL Sports KVET-A (AM 1300 THE ZONE)/AUSTIN sports sales manager LANCE CLAWSON is among six men arrested by TEXAS game wardens after a probe into the state's black-market deer trade. 

CBS affiliate KFDM-TV/BEAUMONT reports that CLAWSON, who turned himself in FRIDAY, and the other men are accused of trapping, buying, or selling wild native whitetail deer, and is one of three accused of involvement in laundering wild deer into permitted deer breeding facilities, including allegedly darting deer to get them into his facility. 

The FORT WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM reports that CLAWSON was previously arrested on OCTOBER 16 on a deer smuggling charge.
