McCarthy To Call NFL For Sports USA

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES television voice TOM MCCARTHY is adding duties as one of SPORTS USA RADIO NETWORK's NFL play-by-play announcers after the conclusion of the PHILS' season. MCCARTHY, who previously called NEW YORK METS and minor league TRENTON THUNDER games as well as college sports for WESTWOOD ONE and CSTV/CBS COLLEGE SPORTS, is the play-by-play voice of the World Champions on COMCAST SPORTSNET and TRIBUNE's MY NETWORK TV affiliate WPHL-TV (MY PHL17)/PHILADELPHIA.

"I am excited about the prospects of joining the SPORTS USA broadcasting family," said MCCARTHY. "I am grateful for the opportunity. To go to a different NFL venue each week and do the best games on the schedule, is something I am genuinely looking forward to."
