The TENNESSEAN is reporting that tickets for CAPITOL star KEITH URBAN's "We're All For The Hall" benefit show on OCTOBER 13th in NASHVILLE were sold out in 20 minutes YESTERDAY (9/2). Tickets were priced at $25 each, and all proceeds will go to the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM.
URBAN said: “We are overwhelmed and truly grateful for the support that everyone is giving the WE'RE ALL FOR THE HALL benefit for the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity. Given the response, we are thrilled to announce that we will absolutely be doing this again next year!”
Fans who attended KEITH's concert at the SOMMET CENTER last SATURDAY (8/29) were given a pre-sale code, allowing them to buy tickets early. The code was also broadcast on the radio and was given to URBAN's fan club members and HALL OF FAME members. Although the HOF will benefit greatly from the money raised, HOF Director KYLE YOUNG expressed his disappointment that some of the early buyers re-sold their tickets.
YOUNG said: "As KEITH explained on MONDAY (8/31) when he announced this show, he understands how bad the economy is, and really wanted these tickets to be affordable for fans. So the fact that tickets may be scalped is disappointing. Unfortunately, it's an all-too-common occurrence and is something that we can't control."
"We're All For The Hall" will also feature performances by VINCE GILL, FAITH HILL, JASON ALDEAN, TAYLOR SWIFT, BRAD PAISLEY and LADY ANTEBELLUM. For more on this story, click here.
