Chattanooga's 'River' Flows Into Top 40 'Kiss'

Chattanooga gets Kissed!

CLEAR CHANNEL AC WURV (THE RIVER)/CHATTANOOGA, TN has suddenly flipped to Top 40 KISS FM, launching at 6p with 20,000 songs in a row. You can listen to the new format here. 

CLEAR CHANNEL VP/Market Manager MARK BASS says, “This is just what CHATTANOOGA needs. We’re looking forward to once again making KISS-FM part of the community.” 

CLEAR CHANNEL CHATTANOOGA Operations Manager JAY CRUZE adds, “We are very excited about bringing CHATTANOOGA’s heritage Top 40 back on the air where it’s supposed to be. It’s been a long time coming!” 

This presents an interesting battle in the market, as the station goes up against BAHAKEL COMMUNICATIONS Top 40/Mainstream WDOD (THE MOUNTAIN), which is currently airing CC/PREMIERE personalities KIDD KRADDICK and RYAN SEACREST.
