CCMA Awards Close Out The Week

CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC WEEK will kick off tomorrow (9/10) in VANCOUVER, BC with a "New Artist Showcase" at the SONGWRITER's CAFE. This year's performers include SHANE CHISHOLM, JAIDA DREYER and DARREN McGINNIS. 

FRIDAY's (9/11) activities include a KEYNOTE ADDRESS by NETTWERK MUSIC CEO TERRY McBRIDE, the Class of 2009 induction for the CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF HONOUR and the ALL STAR BAND AWARDS.

On SATURDAY (9/12), the INDUSTRY BRUNCH & AWARDS and the 2009 FAN FEST will be held, featuring appearances by JOHNNY REID, JESSIE FARRELL, AARON PRITCHETT, DOC WALKER, TERRI CLARK and more. 

The week wraps up on SUNDAY (9/13) with the CCMA AWARDS, GREAT GUITAR PULL and the GOSPEL SHOWCASE. The CCMA AWARDS will kick off at 4p (PT) at GM PLACE and will be broadcast live on CBC-TV. Presenters and performers include MARTINA McBRIDE, REBA McENTIRE, DOC WALKER, DEAN BRODY, EMERSON DRIVE and more.
