Savage Out, John And Ken In At KNEW/San Francisco

TALK RADIO NETWORK's MICHAEL SAVAGE has been dropped by his flagship station, CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KNEW-A/SAN FRANCISCO, and a simulcast of sister KFI-A/LOS ANGELES afternoon hosts JOHN KOBYLT and KEN CHIAMPOU will air in the 3-7p PT slot beginning TODAY (9/10).

A statement from KNEW management said, "We have decided to go in a different philosophical and ideological direction, featuring more contemporary content and more local information.  THE SAVAGE NATION does not fit into that vision." 

JOHN AND KEN's show is heavily CALIFORNIA-focused, and has grabbed headlines across the state for its campaigns against massive tax increases and other actions or inactions by the legislature and Governor, including the ongoing "Heads on a Stick" campaign to recall legislators who enabled the tax increase despite pledging not to do so.
