A lawyer and self-styled "anti-feminist" who had lost a bid to get a court to declare "ladies' nights" at bars as unlawful discrimination has settled his suit against OPIE AND ANTHONY sidekick and standup comic JIM NORTON for defamation after the lawyer appeared on the XM SATELLITE RADIO edition of the show.
The NEW YORK POST reported that ROY DEN HOLLANDER, who also sued COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY for having a "Women's Studies" program, dropped his suit in exchange for NORTON dropping a motion asking for the court to sanction HOLLANDER $10,000 and legal fees for filing a baseless action.
NORTON will be a corespondent on JAY LENO's new NBC primetime show when it launches MONDAY (9/14).
