Joe Nichols To Perform For Dalai Lama

UNIVERSAL RECORDS SOUTH/NASHVILLE's JOE NICHOLS will perform at a ceremony honoring THE DALAI LAMA at the LORRAINE HOTEL in MEMPHIS on SEPTEMBER 23rd. His Holiness will be receiving THE FREEDOM AWARD from the NATIONAL CIVIL RIGHTS MUSEUM.

Later that evening, NICHOLS will join singer NATALIE COLE at the CANNON CENTER for a concert hosted by the DALAI LAMA to benefit the MISSING PEACE MUSIC AND ART PROGRAM. A film crew will be on hand to film the event for a possible television broadcast at a later date.
