ESPN 1040/Tampa Adds Phil Esposito Show

Hockey legend PHIL ESPOSITO will host a weekly show for GENESIS COMMUNICATIONS Sports WHBO-A (ESPN 1040)/TAMPA this season. The show will air WEDNESDAYS 1-2p ET beginning SEPTEMBER 30th.

ESPOSITO, a Hockey Hall of Famer, played for the CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS, BOSTON BRUINS and NEW YORK RANGERS, later becoming the RANGERS' VP/GM before helping bring hockey to TAMPA BAY with the creation of the LIGHTNING. He also has a recurring role on FX series "RESCUE ME."

The station is also teaming up with the UNITED WAY OF TAMPA BAY for a live charity auction SEPTEMBER 21st-27th.
