Former GM, Accountant Indicted For Stealing From Station

Two former employees at MAUMEE VALLEY BROADCASTING ASSOCIATION Religion WPOS/HOLLAND-TOLEDO, OH have been indicted on charges arising form the theft of thousands of dollars from the station in 2008. The TOLEDO BLADE reports that the station's former GM RICHARD L. WALDRON and former accountant JACK L. KARSTEN, JR. were indicted by a LUCAS COUNTY grand jury last week, with WALDRON charged with grand theft of $24,000 in credit card transactions and bad checks and six counts of forgery and KARSTEN indicted for tampering with records and evidence.
WALDRON and KARSTEN left the station after the money was discovered to be missing in MAY of 2008.
