Broadcasters Foundation Raises $100K At Golf Outing

The BROADCASTERS FOUNDATION raised over $100,000 for broadcasters in need at the organization's 11th Annual BROADCASTERS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT, held earlier this week at the SIWANOY COUNTRY CLUB in BRONXVILLE, NY.
Over 150 executives and celebrities attended the event, inclduding CITADEL Hot AC WPLJ/NEW YORK's SCOTT SHANNON, BUCKLEY Talk WOR-A/NEW YORK's JOHN GAMBLING, CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A/NEW YORK's CRAIG CARTON, DICK BROADCASTING Top 40 WKZL/GREENSBORO morning man JACK MURPHY, broadcaster and HEISMAN TROPHY winner GINO TORETTA, NBC's AHMAD RASHAD, ESPN, ABC, and MSG NETWORK basketball play-by-play man MIKE BREEN, actress RACHAEL GRANT, CHRIS WRAGGE, OTIS LIVINGSTON, DANA TYLER, and MAX GOMEZ from CBS O&O WCBS-TV (CBS 2)/NEW YORK, and LPGA players KIM HALL and AREE and NAREE SONG.
"Co-chairs JOE BILOTTA of BUCKLEY BROADCASTING and TOM O’BRIEN of NBC UNIVERSAL were inspirational in guiding our efforts through a challenging economic year to a truly successful and well-attended event," said FOUNDATION President JIM THOMPSON. "The CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT is one of the FOUNDATION's biggest fundraisers, and we are grateful to our sponsors and supporters."
