UNIVERSAL RECORDS SOUTH artist RANDY HOUSER made a special stop last week at VICTORY JUNCTION in RANDLEMAN, NC, a NASCAR-themed camp that caters to chronically ill children. While there, RANDY and campers recorded the 2009 VICTORY JUNCTION PSA, which will begin airing on ESPN during select televised races this fall.
Camp founder KYLE PERRY said: "We were thrilled that RANDY HOUSER took the time out of his busy schedule to stop by Camp today with his band. Being big country music fans all of our lives, we all love his "old-school" style of music. RANDY is such a genuinely engaging person, our campers and staff fell in love with him immediately. With VICTORY JUNCTION's 'Feel Your Heart Race' NASCAR theme, the connection with NASHVILLE and country music is an easy one to make, being that we share many of the same fans. RANDY bowled against some of our campers and drove against them in race simulators. Whether he won or lost, and he did both, he looked like he had the most fun of anyone there. RANDY was kind enough to do a PSA for Camp to help spread our message of hope. We look forward to a long-term relationship with such a great and talented guy."
