WJNZ Foreclosure Sale On Hold

The sale of WJNZ RADIO, LLC Urban AC WJNZ-A (1140 JAMZ)/GRAND RAPIDS in a foreclosure sale has been put on hold, according to a headline on a splash page on the station's website, and NBC affiliate WOOD-TV reports that Judge CHRISTOPHER YATES has put the brakes on the deal to allow WJNZ and buyer HOLY FAMILY RADIO to get their evidence in order.

HOLY FAMILY bid $310,000 for the station, which was foreclosed upon earlier this year, and WJNZ objected, challenging the process that requires each interested party to put $315,000 in escrow.
