INDEPENDENCE MEDIA Alternative WWCT (99.9 THE BUZZ)/PEORIA, IL ups RYAN LACOSSE to PD replacing JEFF ANDREWS.

RYAN, an ILLINOIS STATE ‘06 Graduate, has been at INDEPENDENCE MEDIA for the past two years, continues as Promotions Director for the cluster -- WWCT, Top 40/Mainstream WPIA (98.5 KISSFM), Oldies WHPI (HIPPIE RADIO), and Sports KZPN (96.5 ESPN RADIO). He also does middays on KISSFM and "THE HALF ASS SHOW" in PM drive on THE BUZZ.

"I have been lucky to move up so fast here in PEORIA with INDEPENDENCE MEDIA. It’s nice to see hard work pay off," LACOSSE said. "Being Program Director too is something I have been waiting for and another challenge I look forward to, especially with the history behind WWCT and how tough it is out there!"

He added, "Growing the station in the market is my goal. I will do whatever it takes to make this station successful."
