WLTJ Launches 'Q In The City'

WPNT, INC. AC WLTJ (Q92.9)/PITTSBURGH names former crosstown WAMO PD/afternoon talent TRACEY LEE to host "Q IN THE CITY," featuring the best of R&B music SUNDAY through FRIDAY from 9p-mid.

According to STEEL CITY MEDIA Media GM GREGG FRISCHLING, "Many of these artists are already a part of what you hear on Q92.9. In the wake of WAMO-AM and FM being sold and discontinuing music, we knew there was a void that was calling to be filled. As a locally owned and operated radio station with a commitment to the community we knew there was something we could do to make a difference."

TRACEY LEE added, "I was very excited when I was approached about the idea for hosting Q IN THE CITY, especially since WAMO, the station station that so people grew up listening to for the best of R&B, is no longer around. I found myself out and about hearing people saying, 'What do we do now? Where do we go for the best of R&B music.' Now there's no need to look any further, I believe that Q IN THE CITY will help fill the void."
