Johnny Stone Runs Tunnel To Towers

PILLAR OF FIRE Christian AC WAWZ (STAR 99.1)/NEW YORK CITY PD and morning host JOHNNY STONE and TENTH AVENUE NORTH's JEFF OWEN recently participated in the 8TH ANNUAL TUNNEL TO TOWERS RUN on SEPTEMBER 27th in NEW YORK CITY.

"I am honored to be a part of this even that recognizes that sacrifices of those who protect us. I plan on coming back next year with a team STAR 99.1 runners," said STONE.

The event is a 5K that celebrates the legacy of NYC firefighter STEPHEN SILLER who ran through the BROOKLYN BATTERY TUNNEL to the WORLD TRADE CENTER on SEPTEMBER 11th, 2001. Over 25,000 participants joined the event. For more information, visit www.tunneltotowersrun.org.
