KWMT Launches ‘Green October 2009’

CLEAR CHANNEL Triple A KWMT (92.9 THE MOUNTAIN/TUCSON is celebrating "Green OCTOBER" for the third year in a row. During the month they will showcase great music and offer listeners a chance to win a 2010 VOLKSWAGEN Clean Diesel JETTA TDI from Chapman Volkswagen. 

Known as "The Green Tour," each of the four Studio C performance events will have an environmental focus and will feature vendors with green products and services. The broadcasts will be solar powered, courtesy of THE SOLAR STORE. Each show will be broadcasted live on THE MOUNTAIN.

The artists in the tour include INGRID MICHAELSON, CALEXICO, BOB SCHNEIDER and RYAN HOOD. Green OCTOBER will come to a close with the grand prize giveaway of the Jetta on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31st at LA ENCANTADA during their 40th Anniversary Keeping It Green Festival.
