Jim Nettleton Loses Battle With Cancer

We are very saddened to pass on the news that legendary PHILADELPHIA radio personality JIM NETTLETON has succumbed to lung cancer (10/04) at his him home in CHERRY HILL, NJ. We'd reported his illness just last week (NET NEWS 9/30).

Funeral arrangements are not finalized yet, but the information we've been given at this time is for FRIDAY (10/9) at the ALLOWAY FUNERAL HOME in MERCHANTVILLE, NJ.

JIM was one of the original "Boss Jocks" on iconic Top 40 WFIL-A/PHILADELPHIA. He went on to work at crosstown WCAU, WOGL, WPEN and WUSL and many other. For a detailed look at his carrer, just click here, or click here.
