N.C. Talker Apologizes To Settle Suit

SEA-COMM News-Talk WLTT (THE BIG TALKER)/WILMINGTON morning man CURTIS WRIGHT has apologized to settle a lawsuit filed by a politician after WRIGHT allegedly circulated a letter saying that the man is gay. 

Now-NORTH CAROLINA REPUBLICAN PARTY Chairman TOM FETZER sued the host and station over the letter, which WRIGHT claimed he sent to warn party leaders of the talk being circulated about FETZER; WRIGHT said that he supports FETZER and did not claim the letter was accurate. The settlement did not include monetary compensation.
