Big Changes At KCAQ/Oxnard-Ventura

Changes are rippling through GOLD COAST Top 40/Rhythmic KCAQ (Q104.7)/OXNARD-VENTURA, CA. This MORNING (10/5), the entire air staff, including PD BRIAN "BIG BEAR" DAVIS, gathered on-air at 7:20 to announce the dramatic changes. 

Returning to mornings at KCAQ are RICO and MAMBO to do the RICO AND MAMBO MORNING SHOW. RICO and MAMBO hosted the morning show at KCAQ for several years before moving across town to CUMULUS Top 40/Rhythmic KVYB (103-3 THE VIBE). The pair exited KVYB in JUNE 2008 and have been on the beach since. 

Current morning teamers NANCY RODRIGUEZ, DFP and mixer KID SPIN will remain on board with RICO and MAMBO. 

MD/morning co-host QUAY moves to afternoons and SANTIAGO moves from afternoons into the night slot and BIG BEAR returns to a regular shift with his LOVE PAD, slow jams show on MONDAY through THURSDAY at 10 pm. 

MISS ALYNETTE remains locked into her slot in the midday.
