The ratings are up, but they're still small at FOX BUSINESS NETWORK in mornings after the debut of DON IMUS' simulcast this week. FBN drew 177,000 total viewers MONDAY in the 6-9a slot with the CITADEL MEDIA syndicated show's video version, according to MEDIAITE (citing NIELSEN figures), with the audience size peaking at 202,000 for the 7a ET hour featuring GLENN BECK.
The channel was averaging about 21,000 for the 5-9a slot with the previous offering, "MONEY FOR BREAKFAST." IMUS also beat CNBC's competing "SQUAWK BOX," which drew 151,000 viewers MONDAY.
The numbers for IMUS skewed heavily older, with only 9,000 viewers aged 25-54 and 73,000 in the 35-64 age group.
