Who's Buying What

The previously undisclosed price for BACKYARD BROADCASTING's sale of WURK/ELWOOD-MUNCIE, IN to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is $750,000.  The number is disclosed in the contract attached to the paperwork filed with the FCC.

EMF is also buying the construction permit for a new FM in JACKSON, MO from I.G.W.T. COMMUNITY RADIO, INC. for $10,000.

And KALIL HOLDING GROUP LLC has been appointed trustee for WALKER RADIO, licensee of AAA KZGL (EAGLE 103.7)/FLAGSTAFF, AZ.  The appointment comes after judgment against WALKER was entered by an ARIZONA court in favor of TOWER INVESTMENT TRUST, which asked for appointment of a trustee to operate the station as a going concern while it is marketed for sale.
