CENTENNIAL BROADCASTING has announced the launch of a new commercial Triple A station in ROANOKE, VA on MONDAY, OCTOBER 12th. The station -- WVMP (101.5 THE MUSIC PLACE) -- will be committed to promoting progressive music and emerging artists in the Americana and Triple A genres and working closely with the arts community and social justice organizations of ROANOKE.
SARAH MCCLUNE has been named PD of the station and can be reached at smcclune@centennialbroadcasting.com. She will begin taking music calls after OCTOBER 19th on weekdays 10a-5p at (540) 344-2800

Former WNRN/CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA MD RONDA CHOLLOCK, who has been on board for the station's launch, will continue to remain involved part-time doing some voicetracking and also hosting a new music specialty show.
