WXLK Raises Money For Susan G. Komen

"Dude, That Is One TINY Guitar!"

Congratulations to the staff at WHEELER Top 40 WXLK (K92)/ROANOKE on its PRETTY IN PARK fundraiser to raise money for the SUSAN G. KOMEN FOUNDATION for breast cancer research. Last THURSDAY (10/1), the station rolled out the pink carpet outside the swank 202 MARKET, where inside performers BLAKE LEWIS and JASON CASTRO entertained the crowd. 

K92 PD KEVIN SCOTT tells ALL ACCESS, "Dir./Community Affairs SANDRA PRATT put the whole thing together. She's awesome! We took donations from area merchants and auctioned on-stage seats along side the performers as they played." The station raised over $10,000 for the cancer research institute.
