GAP BROADCASTING is selling five stations in the MIDLAND-ODESSA, TX market to ICA RADIO, LTD. for $3 million plus an LMA before closing. The cluster includes Adult Hits KFZX (102.1 JACK FM), AC KCHX (MIX 106.7), Country KMRK (MY 96.1 COUNTRY), Talk KCRS-A and Top 40 KCRS-F (103.3 KISS FM).
In other deals filed with the FCC, EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is buying silent KXPC-F/LEBANON-EUGENE, OR from PORTLAND BROADCASTING, L.L.C. for $1.25 million. The station went silent on MAY 20th and aired a Country format before that.
WXXY BROADCASTING, INC. is selling noncommercial WEHA/PORT REPUBLIC, NJ and FM translator W260BW/EGG HARBOR, NJ to SPREAD THE GOSPEL, INC. for $375,000.
And VERMILION BROADCASTING CORP. is selling Adult Standards WITY-A/DANVILLE, IL to ILLIANA COMMUNICATIONS LLC for $300,000.
