R.W. Smith Joins KJJY As PD

CITADEL/DES MOINES OM STEVE BRILL has announced the hiring of veteran programmer R.W. SMITH as PD of Country KJJY. SMITH, most recently PD at BEASLEY Country KCYE/LAS VEGAS, has also programmed REGENT BROADCASTING WYRK/BUFFALO and SAGA Country WIXY/CHAMPAIGN, IL.

SMITH takes the reigns at KJJY from ANDY ELLIOT, who will concentrate on his role as PD/morning personality at sister Country station KHKI.
