After 12 years at UNIVERSAL MOTOWN, CLEVELAND-based Midwest Regional Promotion Rep BOB DICKEY departs. DICKEY was hired by MONTE LIPMAN and STEVE LEEDS to work for UNIVERSAL RECORDS in late 1997. He later segued to UNIVERSAL MOTOWN when REPUBLIC and MOTOWN morphed out of UNIVERSAL RECORDS a few years ago.
"It has been a great experience. Working on the ground-floor with acts like 3 DOORS DOWN, GODSMACK, JACK JOHNSON and AKON (among others), and seeing them become stars was extremely rewarding. Working with Radio in the Midwest has been the best."
