VOCAREER.COM has introduced the CHUCK RILEY Memorial Scholarship, named for one of the founding talent of partner service, VOICEHUNTER.COM. The CHUCK RILEY Scholarship and VOCAREER.COM will help one voiceover student get the start he or she hoped to get in voiceovers but could not otherwise afford.
Applications are being accepted through APRIL 30th, 2010 for students with aspirations of becoming a voiceover star. Applicants must be legal U.S. residents, be at least 18 years of age or older, have an annual household income under $30,000 and have a passion for voiceovers, acting and performance. No current, professional voiceover talent will be eligible.
VOCAREER.COM Pres. ADAM GOODMAN stated, "We hear of so many people in need of a 'next' career option who poses every skill to be able to be a voiceover star. The great part of being a voiceover artist is you only need your voice. For people disabled or who have become recently disabled and unable to perform the physical jobs they once could are our prime targets to award this scholarship."
Interested applicants should go to STARTAVOCAREER.COM for a complete application.
