FCC Proposes Seven Fines For Late License Renewal Apps

The FCC issued several proposed fines for licensees' failure to timely file license renewal applications.  Among the proposed fines were $7,000 fines against ELMIRA COLLEGE (WECW/ELMIRA, NY), CORNING COMMUNITY COLLEGE (WCEB/CORNING, NY), and UNIVERSAL BROADCASTING, INC. (KQLO-A/SUN VALLEY, ID); a $750 fine against NORTH CUSTER RADIO, INC. (K232CL/CHALLIS, ID); and $500 fines on KATH BROADCASTING, INC. (K244AR/PINE BLUFFS, WY), LUSK TV CLUB (K276AW/LUSK, WY), and CONNECTICUT RIVER EDUCATIONAL RADIO, INC. (WWBW-LP/HIGGANUM, CT).
