CALVARY CHAPEL OF COSTA MESA, INC. is selling four noncommerical stations and an FM translator to LIBERTY UNIVERSITY for $1.25 million plus the right to air the seller's "THE WORD FOR TODAY" for one hour daily as long as LIBERTY owns the stations. The stations include WGPS/ELIZABETH CITY, NC; WPGT/ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC; WJIJ/NORLINA, NC; WAJC/ZEBULON, NC; and W214BJ/MURFREESBORO, NC.
In another deal filed with the FCC, MIAMI UNIVERSITY of OHIO is selling the construction permit for WMUI/RUSHVILLE, IN to RUSH COUNTY SCHOOLS in INDIANA for $2,000.
And in FM translator deals, HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is selling W228BQ/LADYSMITH, WI to ZOE COMMUNICATIONS INC. for $5,000; and SPIRIT MEDIA is selling K252ES/TUBA CITY, AZ to ROCKET RADIO CORPORATION for $30,000.
