USRN Joins MRC, Gets One Board Seat

UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS has become a member of THE MEDIA RATING COUNCIL (MRC). USRN has signed a three-year membership agreement with the MRC, and along with their enrollment, USRN will receive one seat on the MRC Board of Directors. The announcement comes from USRN Pres./COO JIM HIGGINS based at the network’s headquarters in NEW YORK.
"We are very pleased that UNITED STATIONS has chosen to join MRC and to participate in the important process of auditing and accrediting media research results," said MRC Exec. Dir./CEO GEORGE IVIE. "The UNITED STATIONS’ team has a great track record and they have tremendous experience in radio with a unique perspective on the business. We’re certain that their expertise will add strength to our assessments of the latest research products including ARBITRON’s RADAR. We look forward to working closely with the USRN personnel throughout the year and as a part of our audit committees."
