BROOKLYN pirate station operators JEAN CLERVEAU and JOCELYN EDWARDS get hit with a $10,000 fine for operating an unlicensed station at 90.5 FM.
An antenna was observed by agents atop the pair's apartment building, but upon a subsequent visit, the equipment had been removed; the duo also claimed that someone other than themselves lived in the apartment in question.
Nevertheless, the Commission fined CLERVEAU and EDWARDS, noting that CLERVEAU was responsible for providing electricity to the apartment and therefore had liability.
