AWRT Opens Two New College Chapters

AMERICAN WOMEN IN RADIO AND TELEVISION (AWRT) has formed two new student chapters, the AWRT GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY Chapter in ATLANTA and AWRT PENN STATE UNIVERSITY Chapter in STATE COLLEGE, PA. The new chapters are indicative of AWRT’s commitment to fostering the growth of women in the media.

"AWRT is committed to students striving for excellence in the media," AWRT Interim Pres. SYLVIA STROBEL stated. "It is with great enthusiasm that we now have a student chapter on the campuses of GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY and PENN STATE UNIVERSITY. We look forward to working with these chapters to create benefits and programs relevant to its students and our student members."
