CPAM RADIO UNION French-Haitian CJWI-A/MONTREAL will move from 1610 AM to 1410 AM and increase to 10,000 watts full-time, with the CRTC announcing its approval of the move TODAY (10/26). The move will alleviate co-channel skywave interference from SAN LORENZO LATIN AMERICAN COMMUNITY CENTRE Spanish community CHHA-A (VOCES LATINAS)/TORONTO.
The CRTC also approved SORTIR FM INC.'s application to move French Tourist Information CKJF/QUEBEC CITY from 90.3 FM to 106.9 FM, increasing power from 16 to 250 watts and upgrading from low power to Class A1 status. A previous attempt to make the same change was denied in AUGUST.
