COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS (CRB) has announced the return of its popular consumer focus group panel for CRS 41 (COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR), taking place FEBRUARY 24th-26th, 2010. "Normal People: From The Mouths Of The Consumer" will be held FEBRUARY 26th at 10a (CT) at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER in MUSIC CITY.
The panelists will represent a generous cross-section of regional Country radio markets of various sizes. The group will provide a glimpse into the minds and opinions of the Country music consumer, from high school students to career professionals. This is the first live focus group to be held at CRS since CRS 35.
Panel moderator/CLEAR CHANNEL Country WUBL/ATLANTA MD LANCE HOUSTON said: “Sometimes it just makes sense to step back and ask the people that listen to the music and buy the records exactly what’s on their mind. At the same time, maybe some of the panelists aren’t buying the records and aren’t listening to the radio, and we want to know why that is, too.”
CRS Agenda Chairman JOHN PAUL added: “It’s been several years since we’ve had a focus group at CRS, and keeping in the spirit of our agenda facelift, we thought this panel would really add some value to the COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR experience. I expect this to be one of the highlights of CRS 41.”
This is the last week to register for CRS 41 with the "early bird" rate of $499. The last day will be FRIDAY (10/30). Get more info at www.crb.org or call the CRB at (615) 327-4487.
