CUMULUS KPUR/AMARILLO which flipped from its Oldies format to Country on SEPT. 21st (NET NEWS 9/24) has hired CRAIG VAUGHN for PD/middays. CRAIG is coming from ZEUS Classic Rock KARX/AMARILLO.

SCOTTY PRESTON has been hired for nights, tracking the shift from his home base in WICHITA FALLS, ID. He will be playing TEXAS Country exclusively MONDAY-SATURDAY nights. The station had been running jockless since the flip and an announcement about morning drive is forthcoming.

The station is continuing with "12-in-a-row commercial free" every hour with the Country format.
